Nuno Rodrigues is a co-founder and the artistic director of the Portuguese film festival Curtas Vila do Conde, International Film Festival. In 1999, he founded Agência - Portuguese Short Film Agency, where he is now a member of the board of directors, and handles the promotion and distribution of Portuguese short films on international markets. Since 2005, he has been the director and coordinator of the Solar Gallery in Vila do Conde, where he has curated numerous exhibits. In recent years, has also been a film producer.

Nuno Rodrigues participated in “Greatest” Short Films of All Time 2025, a first-ever poll of its kind as a collective love letter to the art of short-form moving image. yanco and Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, in collaboration with Talking Shorts, invited filmmakers, curators, distributors, critics, and scholars worldwide to nominate 10 audiovisual works under sixty minutes that they personally consider the “greatest” of all time. The films were chosen taking into account different eras, genres and thematic diversity. Every week I can think of some different films. The day, the mood or the memory can make me think differently. The choice made, is one possibility, considering the proposal.
