Emilia Mazik

Emilia Mazik is the Head of Industry at Go Short – International Short Film Festival in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She is also a member of the selection committee at Film Fest Gent (Belgium), curates the Industry Forum at Cinekid Festival (the Netherlands), and sits on the strategic board of Talking Shorts, an online magazine dedicated to the short film medium. Her previous roles include Programmer and Festival Director at the Short Waves Festival (Poland), Head of Industry at the Kaboom Animation Festival (the Netherlands), and member of the selection committee at the Glasgow Short Film Festival (Scotland).

Emilia Mazik participated in “Greatest” Short Films of All Time 2025, a first-ever poll of its kind as a collective love letter to the art of short-form moving image. yanco and Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, in collaboration with Talking Shorts, invited filmmakers, curators, distributors, critics, and scholars worldwide to nominate 10 audiovisual works under sixty minutes that they personally consider the “greatest” of all time.
