His wide-ranging, multidisciplinary oeuvre explored the possibilities of various media and genres, encompassing film and video, painting, sculpture, photography, writing, and music. Snow’s practice comprised a thorough investigation into the nature of perception. His best-known films are Wavelength (1967) and La Région Centrale (1971), with the former regarded as a milestone in avant-garde cinema.
