Elinor Lewy

Eli Lewy is the co-director of the Final Girls Berlin Film Festival, a horror film festival launched in late 2016 that showcases works directed, written, or produced by women and non-binary people. She has programmed the female friendship film series Birds of a Feather since 2020 and launched the idiocinecratic film series in 2025. Eli also has a film podcast called Somebody’s Watching. She is currently working on her long-term feature-length documentary debut.

Elinor Lewy participated in “Greatest” Short Films of All Time 2025, a first-ever poll of its kind as a collective love letter to the art of short-form moving image. yanco and Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, in collaboration with Talking Shorts, invited filmmakers, curators, distributors, critics, and scholars worldwide to nominate 10 audiovisual works under sixty minutes that they personally consider the “greatest” of all time.
